Penndot Issues

Along with the criminal penalties of a Dui are the separate, but equally significant civil penalties that accompany a criminal conviction for DUI.  Under Pennsylvania law, the Court is required to notify the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation when you have been convicted of a traffic or criminal violation including a conviction for driving while under the influence.

Upon receipt, Penndot has the authority to suspend your license from any where from twelve (12) months to sixty (60) months depending on the number of violations on your record within a ten (10) year period and the seriousness of the charge.  Don’t wait to lose your license and your ability to maintain a job and support your family.  A member of the DUI Defense Team of Ciccarelli Law Offices is ready to thoroughly analyze your driving under the influence case and help you to decide the best course of action.
